Turkish President holds meeting with President Mamnoon Hussain

ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a meeting with President Mamnoon Hussain in Islamabad on Wednesday. Turkish Foreign Minister, Spokesman of President and Turkish Ambassador also attended the meeting.

Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry and other high officials assisted President Mamnoon Hussain during the meeting. Both sides discussed bilateral relations and cooperating in diverse fields.
Both leaders resolved to enhance and deepen the bilateral cooperation in defence and trade fields. President Mamnoon Hussain urged Turkish investors to get benefit from conducive environment of investment in Pakistan in various fields.

President Mamnoon Hussain on this occasion said Turkish people will defeat terrorism through their firm resolve. He thanked for the Turkish support for the membership of Pakistan in the Nuclear Suppliers Group. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan appreciated Pakistan's efforts for elimination of terrorism.

Both presidents expressed serious concern over human rights violations in Kashmir and stressed to resolve the issue according to aspirations of Kashmiri people and also urged United Nations to conduct investigations of human rights violations in Kashmir.
