Pakistan Railways to run two new passenger trains

Lahore- Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said two new passenger trains will be run from next month to facilitate the travellers. Addressing a press conference in Lahore, he said the trains include Musa-Pak Express, which will run between Lahore and Multan and Mehran Express between Karachi and Mirpur Khas. Khawaja Saad Rafique said the number of freight locomotives will increase to 50 next month. He said a Railway Freight Transportation Company is being established to deal with coal transportation. The Minister said at present, train traffic between Jhang-Shorkot and Multan-Muzaffargarh has been suspended, because of floods.
