ISLAMABAD- The leader of Awami National Party, Senator Zahid Khan today, advised the PML-N led government to take parliament into confidence instead of only meeting with former President Asif Ali Zardari. Talking to journalists Zahid Khan said whenever democratic government confront any kind of difficulty it consults the opposition. He termed it a good omen for the sake of democracy in the country. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, firstly met with PTI chief Imran Khan and then former President and PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari; however, he advised the government to take parliament into confidence as well. The ANP leader strongly criticised the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). He said the PTI government has badly failed to deliver in KP. Talking about talks with Taliban, he said dialogue with Taliban would not bear fruit and it is useless to hold talks with Taliban. Commenting on Pakistan Protection Ordinance (PPO), Zahid Khan said ANP will oppose the bill at every forum.
