Lahore- Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said the Command and Control Centre Project is very important for improving law and order situation and controlling the crime rate in the province. The Chief Minister stated this during a high level meeting today, which reviewed the progress on the project. Provincial ministers, inspector general of police, home secretary and other senior officials attended the meeting. The Chief Minister said the construction work of the latest integrated Control and Command Communication Centre is in progress in Lahore, which will be equipped with state of the art machinery and equipment. He said that 1800 CCTV cameras will be installed in all major cities of province, including Lahore, for surveillance purpose.
