SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Defence, Water and Power, Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that Gwadar Port and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects will open new vista of prosperity and development not only in the country but entire region as well.
In an interview with media here on Sunday, Khawaja Muhammad Asif claimed that the CPEC project will bring revolutionary change and usher economic stability and prosperity not only in Pakistan but also in the whole region.
He said government is utilizing all available resources for improving communication network equally in urban and rural parts of the country.
Khawaja Asif said that the development work on Sialkot-Lahore motorway will be started soon will not only reduce the distance between Sialkot-Lahore but also bring economic prosperity in the region.
He said that PML-N government despite being faced by multifaceted crises was sparing no efforts to resolve the grievances of the masses and facilitating the general public.
The Defence Minister said that ruling party was setting aside the political affiliations and other divisions, was serving the masses across the country without any discrimination.
Khawaja Asif said that against other political forces, his party (PML-N) being true representative of the masses considers itself answerable to the its voters and supporters in its decisions and deeds.
