PESHAWAR - The Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar has announced MBBS Final Professional Annual Examinations session 2013 results.A total of 868 students passed the exam out of 1157 students in the final year professional MBBS examinations 2013. The overall passing percentage was 75 per cent. According to the gazette notification issued by the KMU examination department, Mamoon-Ur-Rashid of Khyber Medical College (KMC) Peshawar clinched 1st Position obtaining 1649 marks, while Ayesha Aziz of KMC and Nargis Jabeen of KMU-Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Kohat secured 2nd and 3rd positions by obtaining 1634 and 1623 marks respectively. In the MBBS final professional annual examination 2013, the passing ratio of KMC was 87 per cent, while the success percentage of Ayub Medical College Abbotabad was 83pc, Gomal Medical College DI Khan 69pc, Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar 81pc, Saidu Medical College Swat 85pc, KMU Institute of Medical Science Kohat 84pc, Bannu Medical College 78pc, Women Medial College Abbotabad 67pc, Jinnah Medical College Peshawar 32pc whereas the passing ratio of Abbottabad International Medical College, Abbottabad was only 14pc.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
