Islamabad- Islamabad Traffic Police has launched a campaign to create awareness among citizens about the importance and utility of lane discipline, seatbelt, helmet for the bikers and non-usage of the mobile phones during the driving.

Students of the various schools and colleges are also participating in the campaign, a police spokesman said.

According to the details, AIG Operations Mr. Sultan Azam Taimouri has instructed ITP to launch a comprehensive awareness campaign to ensure safety for the road users.


SSP Traffic, Islamabad Malik Matloob Hussain said that the basic aim of the campaign was to control the traffic accidents. He further requested the citizens to cooperate with ITP during the campaign.
