WAZIRABAD - The passengers of a train were stranded at Wazirabad Railway Station due to failure of the rail rngine. As they protested and blocked Tezgam and Margala express, the racks of two Trains were combined and dispatched here at Wazirabad. According to details Subuk Kharram RC 104 arrived at 11:00am at the station where its engine failed. The crew tried to remove the fault but no avail. Passengers of the Train came on Platform and started protesting and raising slogans against the government. Meanwhile, Tezgam arrived there at 12:13 pm. The passengers sat on in front of the train, demanding attachment of 104 down with 8 down. Meanwhile, Margala Non-stop 110 Down was halted on Haripur Station, 3 km from Wazirabad. Guard of 104 Down contacted with the controller in Lahore and conveyed the situation as well as demand of the passengers. The Controller ordered for attachment of 104 Down with 110 Down Nonstop.
