HANGU- At least eight people were killed while three got injured in two consecutive explosions today. According to the police, explosions took place at Dorri Banda area. Officials said that the incident took place when a roadside bomb blast targeted a passenger vehicle.

Police said that at least four people were killed. Around 20 people were travelling in the vehicle that was coming from the neighboring Hangu city. Hospital officials said that the death toll might further rise as some of the injured were in critical condition.

Police officials discovered that ball bearings were used in the blast which was detonated with a remote controlled device. No group or militant organization has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
