Martyred soldier laid to rest in Attock

ATTOCK : Muhammad Qasim, a soldier of Pak Army who embraced martyrdom during operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan Agency, was laid to rest on Wednesday evening with full military honour here at Jand. Qasim had recently joined Pak Army (Artillery) and was deployed at South Waziristan. He has left bereaved his wife, one-year-old daughter and his parents.  Qasim’s father Nazir, who had also served in Pak Armym told reporters that he was proud of his son who sacrificed his life for this country. He said that Pak Army was going in the right direction and will soon root out terrorism and crush terrorists to death. He said, “My two sons are still serving in Pak Army and they will never hesitate to sacrifice their lives for the defence of the country.”
