KARACHI-Pakistan People's Party (PPP) will not join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in its long march on Islamabad scheduled for August 14, said Farhatullah Babar, spokesman for the PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
He refuted the reports of contacts between PTI's vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and PPP's co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
Neither Shah Mehmood Qureshi contacted Asif Ali Zardari nor did the latter receive any phone calls from the former, Farhatullah Babar said, adding that reports suggesting contacts between the two are incorrect.
He clarified that the PPP will not have any participation in the PTI's long march on Islamabad slated for August 14.
