QUETTA - A person was killed in Usta Muhammad area of Balochistan on Wednesday while a vehicle of Frontier Corps (FC) escaped a remote controlled bomb attack in Mashkay. According to reports reaching here, unidentified armed people opened firing on Ghulam Muhammad in Gand-kha area of Usta Muhammad and escaped from the scene. As a result of firing, he sustained serious injuries and died before reaching the hospital. Police handed over the body to heirs after completing legal formalities and registered a case against unknown people. However, cause of murder is yet to be ascertained. In another incident, a vehicle of FC escaped bomb attack in Mashkay area of district Awaran. The sources said that unidentified people had planted a remote controlled device in Mashkay bazaar which exploded when the convoy of FC was passing through the area. However, no loss of life and damage to vehicle was reported in the blast.
