Travel agent dies in bid to escape arrest

ISLAMABAD A travel agent allegedly involved in human trafficking in a bid to escape from arrest by FIA raiding team jumped out the plaza building and died on the spot, police claimed. According to details, on Wednesday FIA passport circle team raided an office of travel agency situated in 1-8 Markaz to arrest Haleem Khan for his alleged involvement in human trafficking. When FIA team raided Khans office, he in a bid to avoid arrest opted to jump from Plaza roof and died on the spot. Later, his dead body was shifted to PIMS, Industrial Area police informed. FIA officials claimed that there were dozens of applications against Haleem Khan for minting money from simple people. FIA also recovered dozens of passports from Haleems office.
