FIR registered against Naeem's killers

Lahore- First Information Report (FIR) today has been registered in Nishtar Town Police Station against unidentified culprits for killing Muhammad Naeem after Youhanabad attacks on mere suspicion of having connections with banned outfits. Saleem, Naeem s brother had filed an application to register a case.

Victim of Youhanabad tragedy Naeem, was burned by enraged protesters on Sunday. Naeem, a resident of Kasur, was a glass-worker and had come to Lahore for buying glass from the local market. Police has been deployed for the protection of Christian community post Naeem’s death, as there is fear of retaliation against the community.

Brother of Naeem, Muhammad Saleem had filed an application to file a case against the culprits, who were involved in Naeem’s killing. Naeem s body was identified by his brother.

According to his mother, Naeem had gone from Kasur to Lahore at 8 o’clock in the morning. After two hours, Naeem called home to inform that there had been a bomb blast and after that his phone was off, she explained.

Talking to media, Naeem’s mother lamented that his son had been a pious and religious man and would never engage in dubious activities. Father of Naeem, Mohammad Shafi was too grieved to talk to media.

Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif has ordered immediate arrest of the killers.  The CM has ordered Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Wing Haider Ashraf to secure the footage from the media and arrest the killers as soon as possible.
