DERA GHAZI KHAN - The local police has claimed the arrest of a man involved in the attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore. A man arrested for his alleged involvement in a bank robbery turned out to be one of the attackers who ambushed Sri Lankan cricket team in Liberty Roundabout, Lahore, DG Khan police chief told a press conference here on Monday District Police Officer Malik Tasaddaq Hayat Awan said that the accused Adnan Arshad alias Sajjad, who also had a code name, Chooto, allegedly planned the bank robbery with the local commander of banned Lashkar Jhangvi (Amjad Farooqi group) and another activist Saifullah to provide financial support to the banned organisation.
