SARGODHA - A man was gunned down by his rivals on the premises of Sessions Court here on Friday. The incident caused a stampede at courts, forcing work to closure in all courts while the accused was caught by the police.
As per details, the hearing of a murder case was in progress in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Azam Rana.
Meanwhile a youth identified as Kaley Khan opened indiscriminate firing on his opponent Ghulam Muhammad, killing him instantly and injured his brother Akram.
The police arrested the accused and his two accomplices. Later the accused, a resident of village Monguwali told that he avenged the killing of his father who was murdered by slain Ghulam Muhammad in Shah Nikdar village.
He said that he had no regret over the incident. Meanwhile, lawyers boycotted the courts against the daylight murder on court premises.
