LAHORE: District and Sessions Judge Nazir Ahmad Gajana has ordered for sending the children kept in jails with their detained mothers, to SOS village.

These children will be able to meet their mothers once a week after proper arrangements.

When Judge Nazir Ahmad paid a visit to the jails he came to know that children were also kept with the mothers, who are detained in jail in connection with cases, no one is there to look after them.

Keeping in view that these children should be kept away from jail and education facilities be provided to them so that they could come out from the company of criminals and live in the society like good citizens, the sessions judge directed Jail superintendent that the children who can go to school be immediately shifted to SOS village where they could get education.

In the light of Sessions Judge orders, 4 children were shifted to SOS Village on Ferozpur Road.
