Zardari condemns Mohmand Agency mosque attack

ISLAMABAD:- Former President Asif Ali Zardari yesterday condemned the suicide attack in a mosque in Mohmand Agency during Friday prayers resulting in death of nearly two dozen innocent people and injuries to many more. Condemning the attack, the former president said the terrorists were on the run and in utter desperation were targeting unsuspecting soft targets to create panic. “The terrorists do not realize that Pakistanis are a brave and resilient people and are united in fighting the militants to the finish,” he said. The former president prayed for the victims, expressed sympathies with their families and prayed for early recovery of those injured, said a statement.–STAFF REPORTER
