PESHAWAR- An officer of the security forces was killed in an attack on the border between Peshawar and Khyber Agency.

Militants opened fire on a security forces convoy on Frontier Road. The attack claimed the life of a security officer and injured two. The vehicle was badly damaged and the injured have been shifted to CMH Peshawar.

The area had been sealed four days ago after the security forces targeted a local militant commander and four of his companions.
