Nandipur plant to be restored within months: Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore- Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that the Nandipur power project was restored by the Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz government within months.
Shahbaz Sharif chaired a key meeting today to discuss the ongoing work on the Nandipur power project. Managing Director Nandipur Power Project, Commissioner Gujranwala, DCO Gujranwala and officers of various sectors were present in the meeting. During the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif said that the power plant was the worst example of criminal negligence shown by the previous government. He added that the first turbine of the power plant will start functioning by the end of May 2014. The 425 megawatt Nandipur power plant will be completed by December 2014.
