PESHAWAR - The leadership of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter Sunday asked the leadership of the ruling Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) to come and help rain victims instead of celebrating a festival in Islamabad.
The people are dying at hospitals while chief executive of the province is in Islamabad along with his cabinet to attend a sit-in against the federal government, which is regrettable, the JUI-F provincial leadership said in a statement.
Expressing sorrow over the losses owing the rains and storm in the provincial metropolis, JUI-F provincial chief Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan, General Secretary Shujaul Mulk and Secretary Information Abdul Jalil Jan said that PTI government has failed on all fronts. They said that despite lapse of three days, not a single cabinet member visited hospitals to inquire about the health of rain victims.
