GUJRANWALA - A man was killed and another injured when an armed motorcyclist fired indiscriminate gunshots on the dera of PML-Q Gujranwala General Secretary and ticket holder from PP-94 Khawaja Waqar Hassan here on Monday evening.
Abdul Aziz, 42, son of Muhammad Yaqoob, a resident of Mansehra was killed on the spot while Faqeer Ali, son of Habib Khan sustained critical injuries and was later referred to General Hospital Lahore, the DHQ Hospital sources told.
As per detail, armed motorcyclist came at the residence of Mr Waqar and opened fire on the guards sitting outside the house situated on main Pasrur Road.
Reason behind the attack could be established so far. The police rushed to the spot and started investigation.
