Tsunami not to drift with the tide

ARIFWALA/PAKPATTAN - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that both Asif Ali Zardari and Mian Nawaz Sharif were betraying the nation 'merely' for powers. He said that no one can stop the revolution and the PTI would sweep the upcoming general elections.
Addressing a public gathering here at Arifwala on Monday, Imran said that the government as well as opposition had no agenda to facilitate the nation and steer the country out of prevailing crises. "Their all concentrations are focused on either save the power or how to come into power," he claimed.
The PTI chief asserted that the masses were well aware of the agenda of the ruling political party and opposition who deprived them of basic life amenities and gave them nothing during their rule and they would never trust both.
Imran said that PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif who claimed to be the well wisher of the nation and masses always supported the sitting government against the masses interests when they needed his shoulder.
He said that due to massive corruption and large-scale looting of national exchequer not only foreign investors fled the country but also local investors were shifting their investments to other countries.
Imran claimed that after coming into power, the PTI would introduce such an economic system which would protect the rights of consumers and investors and would convince foreigners to invest in Pakistan.
PAKPATTAN, addressing a largely attend public meeting at Chowk Town Hall, PTI Chief Imran claimed that his party would sweep the upcoming general elections.
Youths in a huge number are supporting the PTI and once the electoral process sets in, people will see the party succeeding, as they want change and his party offers remedy to bring this change," he averred, adding that this change would be visible in the upcoming elections.
He said the PTI would become the first political party that would ensure women's rights in the country. He said that his party would ensure the implementation of laws on women's inheritance share besides special loans for the women entrepreneurs.
The PTI chairman said that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari were equally responsible for the economic slaughter of people of Pakistan.
The tsunami of change would sweep away plunderers of national wealth, feudal lords and the discriminatory system.
Imran said that even all government parties could not stop the tsunami of change. He promised that his party would introduce a new foreign policy, ensure justice to all segments of society where the poor and feudal would be treated in the same manner and the provision of basic amenities like education, health, employment would be responsibility of the state.
He said that the small farmers were badly hit due to the anti-poor policies of the government and prices of urea, pesticides and other commodities had been increased time and again. He said that unabated power and gas loadshedding had furthered the problems of the small farmers and lack of water had spoiled agriculture sector.
Imran Khan specifically pointed towards the youngsters present in the public meeting in a large number and said that the youth were the real ambassadors of the change process.
Holding Punjab government responsible for chaos and deterioration in Punjab, the PTI chief said that Nawaz Sharif ruled Punjab Province for over 25 years but did nothing for the poor. He said that Nawaz-Zardari alliance had been intact for the past five years and they had done nothing for the poor. "Nawaz helped Zardari's rule for five years. Now he is claiming to take his turn and rule the poor of Pakistan. The people now know his real face and they won't allow him to continue the fake fight between the PPP and PML-N.
Imran also lashed out at JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman and local politicians and said that his candidates would defeat all the turncoats, especially in Pakpattan.
On the occasion local leaders Mian Mazhar Fareed Wattoo, Advocate Riaz Arshad Khan Niazi, Sardar Hashim Doger, Mian Mazhar Sharif Hans, Pir Nazim Chishti and others were also present. He also visited the shrine of Hazrat Baba Fareeduddin Ganj Shakar (RA) and offered Fateha.
