Corruption biggest hurdle in way of progress

Government Cluster Training and Support Centre (CTSC) In-charge Sultan Sikander Malik led a walk to mark ‘World Anti-corruption Day’ here the other day.
The rally was organized by GBHS Noorpur Thal and was taken out from Cluster Centre to Kashmeer Chock. The teachers and students participated the rally. The participants were holding banners and posters against the menace of corruption. Addressing the participants, The CTSC In-charge, Prominent Educationist Ahmad Hayat and other speakers said that corruption was the biggest problem of the country and strong measures could be taken to control it.
The said that all segments of the society would have to play their role for elimination of corruption. They further said that corruption was the biggest hurdle in the way of progress and development.  A large number of social workers attended the rally.
LAID TO REST: The prominent social worker Malik Ghulam Rasool Chandram, father of police inspector Malik Abdur Rasool Chandram passed away here the other. He was laid to rest at local graveyard the same day. His funeral was attended by a number of people belonging to all walks of life.
