GHALANI - Assistant Political Agent (APA) Ghalanai Haseeb-Ur-Rehman has said that disciplinary action against teachers and class IV employee of different schools and hospitals will be taken if they were found absent from duty.
While paying surprise visits to various government schools and basic health units in tehsil Haleemzai along with Levy Sobedar Major Dilfaraz Khan, APA found several teachers, doctors and paramedics absent from their duties.
He visited Government High School Boys Haji Yar Jan Kali where four teachers were on casual leave out of ten teachers in the school. He also examines different classes and asks questions from the students. APA was unhappy due to the weak performance of the students and urged the teachers to make regular their duties. He expressed his displeasure over the situation and ordered quarters concerned to initiate disciplinary action against the absent employees.
He also paid surprise inspection visits to schools in Haji Yar Jan, Zafar Kali, Ghazi Kore basic health unit and other localities and checked the attendance of teaching and non-teaching staff.
APA also checked the worse conditions of cleanness of schools and class rooms and ordered to provide clean learning environment to the students.
He directed the schools’ administrators to ensure presence of teachers and improve learning environment in their respective institutions.
He told that the teachers should focus on teaching activities and impart quality education to students.
The APA asked the teachers to avoid availing unnecessary leaves and keep themselves far from indulging into the ugly practices of truancy.
There were four staffs absent in the Ghazi Kor basic health unit while BHU Sangar was found closed at 12pm.
Three teachers were also found in the Middle School Zafar Kalay while three staff including a Medical Officer were also absent in the basic health unit Kali.
