Govt officials urged to serve people

BAHAWALNAGAR - Commissioner Asad Ullah Khan urged the government officers to get out of their offices and render services to the citizens at their doorsteps.
He was presiding over a meeting at DCO office here the other day. The DCO and other administrative officers attended the meeting. He said that prime obligation of the government servants was to address the grievances of masses.
He warned that he would pay surprise visits to the government offices across the district to examine progress. Later, he inaugurated spring plantation campaign by planting a sapling at the DCO office lawn. He said that tree plantation was indispensable for the purification of environment and elimination of pollution. The Commissioner also examined the newly constructed General Bus Stand, Solid Waste Management site and newly established emergency block at DHQ Hospital.
