Four of same family killed in road accident

MARDAN - Four members of a family, including a man, his wife and two children, were killed and two children injured in a road accident
on the Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway in the limits of Sheikh Maltoon Town (SMT) Police Station on Monday.
According to Sheikh Maltooon Town Police Station, Mohammad Naeem, an employee of Honda Company at Lahore, along with his family after spending holiday at his brother house at Shahrifabad, Takhatbhai, were going back to Lahore in his car (LEF-1232) on Mardan-Islamabad Motorway near Rashaki Interchange, the tyre of the car exploded. Mohammad Naeem, who was driving the car, lost control over steering and the vehicle fell down from the motorway.
As a result, Mohammad Naeeem, his wife Asma and his sons Shahid (20), Raheel (25) died on the spot while his 5-year-old daughter Nida and 17-year-old son Waqas got serious injuries and were shifted to the Mardan Medical Complex (MMC), where Waqas was discharged from hospital after getting medical treatment and Nida was referred to Peshawar in critical condition.
Later on, after autopsy police handed over the dead bodies to their relatives. Police registered the First Information Report (FIR) of the incident.
