LAHORE: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday apprehended eight suspected terrorists here. The CTD, on a tip –off, arrested eight suspected terrorists in targeted operations from different areas of Lahore. Two of the arrested terrorists were identified as Nabeel and Abdullah. A CTD official said that both terrorists were members of banned outfit Hizbut Tehrir and promoting the hatred literature on internet and perusing the innocent persons to join the organisation and send them to Afghanistan and Syria. Reports say that laptops and literature was recovered from their custody.–INP

Police shifted them to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
