Rawalpindi- Tarbella and Mangla dams have been filled to their capacity amid the reports that water reserves have surpassed 10 million acre feet in both of these water reservoirs.
As per IRSA, Tarballa and Mangla dam have reached their highest level. Water level has been recorded at 1550 feet in Tarbella dam and 1242 feet in Mangla dam. Water inflow has been recorded 74000 cusecs and outflow as 56000 cusecs at Tarbella in river Indus. Water inflow stands at 15000 cusecs and outflow at 62000 cusecs in river Kabul. Water inflow has been witnessed 89000 cusecs and outflow 81000 cusecs in Kalabagh dam. Water inflow has reached 309000 cusecs and outflow 284000 cusecs in Guddu Barrage. Flood water is passing at the scale of 160000 cusecs.
