NOC mandatory for collecting hides

SIALKOT - The district administration directed such religious and social welfare organisations as have a plan to collect hides of sacrificial animals on Eidul Azha to get no objection certificate (NOC) as mandatory for the purpose.
Otherwise, they would not be allowed to collect hides and no one would be allowed to set up camps at any public place or to distribute the pamphlets and broachers motivating the people to donate them the hides of the animals in Sialkot district, it said.
The district coordination officer of Sialkot added that the defunct and banned militant organisations, now working under their new names, would not be allowed to collect hides of animals during the Eidul Azha. He directed the managements of all the religious seminaries to provide complete particulars of all the students belonging to the other districts and studying here in Sialkot district. He also directed early installation of CCTV cameras in and around all the worship places including mosques, churches, Imambargahs and seminaries to avert any untoward incident.

DEATH SENTENCE: The Additional District and Session Judge (ADSJ) Sialkot Muhammad Yousaf Ojala has awarded death sentence with a fine of Rs0.5 million to a convict for killing his wife on July 11, 2015. Muhammad Boota had been suspecting her of having bad character in village Kotla Ambaanwala-Sialkot.
