Islamabad- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today held an important meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif, and reviewed security situation in Islamabad’s Red Zone. According to our sources, Raheel Sharif briefed the PM over prevailing law-and-order situation in Islamabad, especially security situation in the capital’s heavily guarded Red Zone that houses Pakistan's top government buildings and many foreign embassies. Army has already been deployed in the federal capital under Article 245 of the Constitution.
