CHENABNAGAR: Chaudhry M Ali Muzztar, an educationist and poet, passed away at the age of 98 due to cardiac arrest and was laid to rest in a local graveyard in presence of notables of the city.
He was born on 11th Dec 1917 in Maseetian district Ferozpure. During Partition he migrated to Pakistan and settled at Gojra. He devoted himself for studies, sports and poetry. He did MA in Philosophy from Govt College Lahore and then started teaching as lecturer and retired as a principal of Government TI College Chenabnagar. Remained the member of Senate Academic Council of the Punjab University and was also the member of Board of Studies (Psychology). –Staff Reporter
He translated many books from Urdu into English. Last year, he attended the Annual Old Ravian’s gathering as the oldest living Ravian.
