A woman was hanged to death by her husband over a matrimonial dispute in Chak 39 in the remit of Ferozewala police station.
Accused Muhammad Khan wanted to marry his daughter with his nephew, the son of his brother Aqeel. However, Humaira was opposing the proposal at which the accused, along with his brother Aqeel, hanged his wife to death.
ROBBERY: Two unidentified highway robbers in a dacoity bid injured one Naseer Ahmad in Sharqpur. According to a report, the victim on a bike was on his way to his village when robbers intercepted him. On putting resistance, the outlaws opened fire and injuring Naseer seriously.
