ISLAMABAD - Muttahida Muslim League (MML) would start a movement against the policies of the government and 'corrupt leadership on February 5 as a public meeting would be hold in Lahore. MML is in regular contact with Tehreek-e-Insaf, PPP Sherpao, Jamaat-e-Islami and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and soon a joint strategy would be devised in this regard. The present rulers are incapable, corrupt and responsible for all crises Pakistan is facing today, stated in a joint statement by senior Muslim League leaders issued from PML Central Secretariat after a meeting here on Tuesday. During the meeting, President PML-Q (Likeminded) Salim Saifullah Khan said that Pakistan is passing through its critical phase and they would start mass contact movement from February 5 with an aim to save Pakistan. Leaders of MML including Hamid Nasir Chattha, Humayun Akhtar, Kashmala Tariq, Makdoom Ahmed Mahmood, Ejazul Haq, Sheikh Rashid, Ghulam Abbas and others reaffirmed that the corruption in the country would not be tolerated anymore. Saifullah said that PML-Ns nine-point agenda was a jock with the nation and if the problems faced by Pakistan did not resolve by the current rulers after three years, how it would be dealt with in 45 days. Secretary General Humayun Akhtar Khan said that dynastic politics had brought the country to the edge of disaster and the present rulers are looting the country with both hands. He claimed that court decisions were not being implemented by the government, and the nation wants radical change. Chairman PML-Q (Likeminded) Hamid Nasir Chatha said that MML was fully capable of pulling out country from current crisis. He said that during our reign 17000MW electricity was being generated, but the present rulers have gone for expensive Rental power plants though cheep resources were available for electricity production. Former Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri said that formation of new provinces is the need of the hour and MML would get the nation rid of the present corrupt rulers.
