Islam teaches peace, tolerance

VEHARI - Tanzeemul Arfeen Secretary General Sahibzada Sultan Ahmad Ali has said that Islam is a religion of peace that teaches tolerance, peace, justice, equality and welfare of humanity without any prejudice. Islam always stands for the human dignity, safety of humanity and global peace for the humanity without discrimination of religions or civilisations and there is no room for sectarianism in Islam. The only key to success is to obey Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he added He was addressing ‘Haq-Bahoo Conference’ here the other day. He urged people and media to project soft and true image of Islam aboard. “We are peace loving nation, like other nations of the world and having no link with extremism and terrorism. We wanted to move along with world, we are peaceful, we believe in love and humanity,” he said. He stressed the need for mitigating emotional thinking by creating awareness among the masses trough the Ulema, members of civil society and media. “The Muslims have forgotten the real path and will ruin if remain on same path. It is only the religion of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which can give protection, peace  and justice,” he said It is said in Quran: “hold the string and don’t divide in groups” and no body is obeying this saying”, he claimed. He said that Pakistan was a great gift of God which was came into being by many sacrifices of our forefathers. Saudian guest Haji Kareem, District President Rao Muhammad Atif, Qari Altaf Hussain, Arif Nadeem, Muhammad Mudassar Sultani, Nadeem Bhabha, Hakeem Akbar, Sarfraz Shah also spoke on the occasion.
