PESHAWAR- Unknown armed men gunned down four persons including three cops and injured two others here on Friday and escaped the scene.                                                                             CCPO Peshawar Ijaz Khan said that unknown motorists sprayed bullets at cops busy in iftar by roadside in Pishtakhara area of Peshawar.
As a result of firing four people including three cops and a passerby were killed while two others sustained wounds.
The attackers managed to flee after committing the quadrupled murder .The casualties were moved to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Heavy contingent of police and other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) cordoned of the area after the incident and launched search operation for the attackers.
