RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff, Gen Raheel Sharif, spent the first day of Ramadan at the warfront in Khyber Agency as he monitored the progress of ongoing operation in the area, local media reported today.

Army chief took a briefing about the operation's progress as he spent the day with soldiers fighting against militancy at the warfront.

Gen. Raheel expressed determination of cleansing the country from terrorism. He said that facilitators of terrorists in the whole country would be brought to justice.
