PESHAWAR- At least five people sustained injuries when a blast occurred in the city’s central area of Sarki Gate early today morning on Wednesday.
Police and bomb disposal unit have reached the blast site. The relief and rescue operation was kick-started soon after the blast. The injured are being shifted to Lady Reading Hospital.
It is pertinent to note here that Sarki Gate is the city’s main commercial and residential area inhabited by a large number of people from Shia and Sunni sects.
