Terror attacks condemned

LAHORE (PR) - The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran has condemned the terrorist attacks in Lahore as a result of which a number of innocent people from the Christian community have been killed and injured.
Mrs. Marzia Afkham while condemning suicide bombing near two churches in a Christian community in Lahore said: “Islam believes in co-existence among the followers of different religions and it completely negates terrorism.”
She reiterated: “Islamic Republic of Iran has always desired people from all religions to promote co-existence because hostility and radical ideas badly affect the sense of belonging and co-existence.”
While expressing her sympathy with the government, nation and bereaved families of the victims of Lahore, she also prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and give enough strength and fortitude to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
