PESHAWAR: The beheaded body of an Afghan trader was recovered from a hotel in Haji Camp area in midnight of Thursday and Friday.
Pahari Pora police said that the Afghan national who was identified as Gul Muhammad, son of Salih Muhammad resident of Khost was doing business of gemstones.
On Thursday night he had rented room number 106 in New Qatar Hotel. Police said that the CCTV revealed that two persons visited him during the night and after taking tea, they left the room.
Investigation officer Mahmood Ali said that the hotel administration informed the police that blood was coming out from the room of Gul Muhammad. When police reached the crime scene, the beheaded body of the Afghan national was lying on the ground.
He said that the responsible persons for his killing could not ascertained, however, the family of the deceased person has been informed to tell the exact story regarding his enmity or any other personal dispute.
Police registered FIR and started further investigation.
CTD ARRESTS TERRORIST IN SWAT: INP adds: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a terrorist and recovered arms from his possession here on Friday.
The CTD Malakand region reacting to an intelligence report conducted an operation in Shor area of district Swat during which a wanted terrorist was apprehended with arms.
The nabbed terrorist identified as Adnan was stated to be involved in the attack on security forces convoys during 2009. He was shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
