KHANEWAL - Only educated nations could make strides and achieve development that's why Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif is striving hard to promote education in the province, a PML-N lawmaker claimed.MPA Haji Ghulam Jaffar Sargana made the remarks while addressing up-gradation ceremony of Govt Primary School Adda 12-Meel Kabirwala to middle standard here the other day.He said that the CM always considered himself as a public servant and felt satisfaction while serving people especially the helpless community. He added that Shahbaz Sharif took keen interest in enhancing literacy rate in the province. The MPA said that hundreds of mega projects were underway for the development of the education sector. Sargana pointed out that there were already 7 Higher Secondary School in Tehsil Kabirwala and seven more had been established in the area. Similarly 10 different schools have been upgraded from primary to middle and middle to high. The MPA also announced a grant of Rs2 million for the sewerage and metal roads in the village 12-Meel. On this occasion, Ch Muhammad Ameen Qaisar, District Sports Officer Nadeem Qaisar, Sahibzada Mian Muhammad Raza Sargana, Abbas Sargana, Haji Bashir Ahmad, Abdul Hamid, Master Allah Ditta and hundreds of students and representatives of civil society were also present.
