Army Chief leaves for Kabul

Rawalpindi- Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Monday left for Kabul on a day-long visit to Afghanistan.
According to ISPR, he will hold important meetings with Afghan military and ISAF commanders. Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif will participate in the trilateral talks between, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). It will be the 37th trilateral talks between Afghanistan, Pakistan and the International Security Assistance Force (IAF). COAS will hold important meetings with Afghan military and International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) commanders. The tripartite commission talks come on the heels of a cross-border shooting by Afghan forces last week. Afghanistan accused Pakistan of violating a trilateral agreement on Thursday by attempting to set up military installations along the Durand Line which resulted into clashes between Afghan and Pakistani forces.
