Judge withholds 6 cops salaries

SADIQABAD - An additional district and sessions judge of Rahim Yar Khan has directed the government to stop the salaries of six alleged derelict police officials for not complying with the court orders. The court also issued show cause notice to the Rukanpur station head officer and sought his reply. Judge Malik Shabbir Hussain Awan had summoned Abadpur police station SHO and Sub-Inspector Nazir Ahmad for several times as witnesses but they failed to appear before the court in spite of accepting the court notices in this regard. In reaction, the court ordered the police department to stop the disbursement of their remunerations. Similarly, the salaries of Saddar police station SI Faqir Hussain, Head Constable Mumtaz Ahmad and Constable Sabir Ali have been stopped for not complying with the court orders and appearing in the court. Likewise, the pay of Rukanpur SHO was blocked for not presenting a challan in a case (342/11). The Rukanpur police official has also been issued a notice to explain why he did not presented the challan in the case.
