PESHAWAR - On the recommendations of the Provincial Selection Board, more than a dozen officials of Executive Group have been promoted with immediate effect.
A notification issued here by the Establishment and Administration Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said that Abdul Ghafoor Baig has been promoted from BS-19 to BS-20 and Siraj Ahmad has been promoted from BS-18 to BS-19. While the officer on promotion will remain on probation for a period of one year.
Consequent upon the above, the following postings/transfers have been made henceforth.
Abdul Ghafoor Baig (PCS EG BS-20) (awaiting posting in Establishment Department) has been posted as Special Secretary to Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, (relieving Capt Rtd). Syed Waqar-ul-Hassan (PAS BS-20 of the additional charge).
After actualization of his promotion Abdul Ghafoor shall report to Establishment Department and Capt (Retd) Waqar-ul-Hassan (PAS BS-20) shall continue to hold additional charge of the post of special Secretary to Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. While Siraj Ahmad (PCS EG BS-19), Political Agent, North Waziristan Agency, has been posted as Political Agent, North Waziristan Agency (already holding the post).
