ISLAMABAD (APP) - The Chief Justice of Supreme Court Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, took suo moto notice on a news item published in an Urdu daily newspaper dated September 10 regarding an alleged brutal murder of a factory owner after a road accident. Reportedly, Tariq Mehmood was on his way to home from his factory when he met an accident which resulted in an altercation between Tariq and Nadeem who was on motorcycle, says a press release issued here. According to the report Nadeem called his friends on mobile phone, who brutally killed Tariq on the spot by pelting stones at him. Taking the notice, the Chief Justice has passed the following order: Report be called from PPO Punjab for 24-09-2010.
