SHEIKHUPURA - A man shot dead his wife and mother-in-law over a petty dispute in Ghang Road locality near Dera Iqbal on Thursday. According to report, Qaisar returned from work and asked his wife for food which was being prepared. However, he started using abusive language. At which his mother-in-law Sughran Bibi who was also present in the house, forbade her son-in-law not to use such words. But hungry Qaisar flared up after listing to his mother-in-law advice and opened fire, his wife and her mother instantly. The A Division Police started investigation with no arrest so far.
In another incident, a jobless youth Irfan committed suicide by swallowing poisonous pills in Morr Joinawala. The deceased was unemployed for the last several months. He decided to end his life.

Meanwhile, a sales man of a private agency was deprived of cash and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees. As per report, Zafar after collecting cash from market was on the way back to headquarter. In the meantime two highway robbers on a bike intercepted and deprived him cash and other valuables on Lahore road. The Housing Colony Police are investigating.
