Pakistan Wednesday rejected the recent report published by the Amnesty International, calling it baseless and biased. Responding to a query, a Foreign Office spokesman said that the report had overlooked the human and financial sacrifices of the government and people of Pakistan in the global fight against terrorism. "We have lost thousands of soldiers and law enforcement personnel. The loss of civilian lives in incidents of terrorism runs into tens of thousands.
