QUETTA - A landmine explosion killed two people and injured two others in Naseerabad district on Thursday.
Police sources said the landmine exploded, injuring four pedestrians in Chahtar area of Naseerabad.
"Two of them were killed on the spot, whereas two suffered serious wounds," police said. The injured were hurried to district headquarter hospital in Dera Murad Jamali for medical treatment.
 The blast was heard over a wide radius, causing panic in the area. There has been no claim of responsibility for the blast.
