11 kids die of measles in Punjab, death toll in Sindh climbs 410






LAHORE - The deadly measles outbreak has left at least 11 children dead in the Punjab while the death toll in the Sindh province has climbed 410 mark, a private television report said.
Four children lost their lives to the infectious disease in Jacobabad on Saturday. A day earlier, three children died in Kandhkot city of Kashmore district. Until now, measles has claimed lives of 84 children in Sukkur, 48 in Shikarpur, 47 in Khairpur, 33 in Ghotki, 14 in Thul, eight in Larkana and four in Hyderabad. In the Punjab, the deadly disease killed four children in Dera Ghazi Khan, seven in Rajanpur, Ahmedpur, Sharqia, Liaqatpur, Taxila and Hujra Shah Muqeem.
