Rain to lessen public woes

EDO Health Afzal Bashir said that rain would reduce diseases like flu, croup, sore throat, cough and skin allergy.
He advised mothers to keep babies especially newborns in warm clothes and provide them with proper heat in their rooms.
Agriculture University Faisalabad Burewala Sub Campus Principle Dr Ishtiaq Ahmed said that rainwater would be beneficial for the crops and hoped that it would increase the per acre yield. At present, wheat cultivated at 10 million acre land in the Southern Punjab.
Now-a-days, Southern Punjab remains blanketed by dense fog especially during nights causing accidents and injuries of passengers due to lesser visibility on roads.
